ARDA - Chapter 53 - I have never seen Mr. Xu

 A cold voice, full of doubt.

Jiang Ning looked at Marquis Jiang quietly, her eyes flashing a little complicated, but in the end, she returned to calm.

The person in front of her is her father.

In her previous life, she was careful to please him, but Marquis Jiang always treated her with cold words and strict discipline and never showed a gentle look towards her.

Marquis Jiang frowned and said solemnly, "Tell the truth, have you seen him before?"

Jiang Ning smiled bitterly in her heart. If the person standing here was Jiang Mengyue, Marquis Jiang would never say a word and trust her in every possible way, but he was full of doubts about her, as if she was not his biological child.

She raised her face and said, "I've never seen him before, Mr. Xu, why do you say that? I accidentally sprained my foot and went back to the pavilion building early. How could I meet you in private?"

Xu Yuanqing was startled, why did Miss Jiang deny it? They had obviously met before.

Suddenly, Jiang Ning said in a choked voice, "I have never seen Mr. Xu."

Jiang Mengyue stared at Jiang Ning, pretending to be a good sister, and advised, "Sister, you told me personally that day that Mr. Xu sent you back, how could you lie... Not only me, but also  several maids heard it, it's useless for you to tell a lie."
