WIITMITGP - Chapter 2 - Did She Commit Suicide or Was Murdered?

Missus Bai then smiled at the Li Zheng's wife, "Sister-in-law Liang, it's okay to have me and my sister-in-law here, why don't you go back and do your business?"

The Li Zheng's wife waved her hand and wanted to smile: "No hurry, Minghai hasn't arrived with Doctor Jiang yet. When Doctor Jiang comes later you will need money for consultation and medicine. How can Missus Xu have any strength to get it? So I need to give it first.

Otherwise? Would the families of Missus Bai or Missus Zhang be willing to pay it in advance?

Missus Bai suddenly felt a little embarrassed and she was secretly angry: This meddlesome woman!

Aunt Zhu'er soon brought the egg drop soup in, "I've cooled it down, it's just warm enough to drink. Come on, Zhichun, drink it quickly."

Aunt Zhu'er and the village chief's wife helped her together, one person is supporting her up, and the other is holding a bowl to feed her. While Missus Zhang and Missus Bai couldn't get involved.

Missus Zhang was happy to be idle. Missus Bai was thinking a lot and had a small mind. No one knows what grand thoughts she is thinking about, and her face is a little gloomy.

Xu Zhichun is very hungry, she has lost too much blood and is dizzy, and her hands and feet were trembling violently. She did not refuse, thanked them and swallowed big mouthfuls.

After drinking a large bowl of thick egg drop soup, she can finally feel her limbs warm and her head stopped being dizzy.

Seeing that her complexion was getting better, Li Zheng’s wife and Zhu’er were also very happy.

Aunt Zhu'er smiled and said, "It is still sister Liang who  understands better. Look at Zhichun, she looks much better."

Liang Minghai finally arrived with Doctor Jiang. Li Zheng and Uncle Liang and his family were still there. After a few greetings, he hurriedly invited Doctor Jiang to Xu Zhichun's bed.

Doctor Jiang examined Xu Zhichun and said that she had lost too much blood. He said that she must apply medicine to the wounds on her head and arms for a few days, and with good food and proper rest for a while then she will be fine.

On the way, he heard Liang Minghai talk about why Xu Zhichun was injured. He was impressed that he waived most of the medical expenses. He only charged for the ointment he gave that was not collected by himself in the mountains, but is bought from the county clinic. He only charged forty coins.

The eldest and second uncles family were both worried about money and their faces were so distressed that they their faces twitched. They only felt relieved when they saw that their village head's's wife was paying for money to cover the expenses.

Fortunately, they didn't ask them to pay.

Aunt Zhu'er simply took the medicine back to boil for Xu Zhichun. Since there was nothing else, everyone dispersed.

Doctor Jiang hesitated before leaving and advised Xu Zhichun: "This niece-in-law is still young. It is better to be alive than die. Don't do stupid things in the future."

The village head's wife also said, "Yes, if you have any difficulties, just tell us and don't be stupid."

Xu Zhichun nodded and said, "I won't give up. I will pull myself together and raise Mingxuan well, so that I can be worthy of Minglang."

Good words have to be spoken and attitude should be expressed, after all, life is still long.

The village chief’s wife smiled: “Yes, it’s right for you to think that way!”

The eldest uncle and second uncle also laughed, "That's good, that's good."

Doctor Jiang nodded and reminded casually: "By the way, although this niece in-law's life is saved, her health is not so easy to recover, especially after losing too much blood. Being exposed to the wind can easily cause dizziness. In the future, when going up the mountain remember not to stand in windy places or too high places like near cliffs and ridges. The wind is particularly strong there, so avoid those places."

The injury caused by voluntary jumping off the cliff is different from being pushed down by someone. Doctor Jiang even more suspects that Xu Zhichun is the latter, but this is hard to say, and there is no evidence, and it cannot be said lightly.

Just now, he hinted indirectly, and Xu Zhichun seemed to have completely forgotten the situation at that time. He guessed that it was probably because of her head injury.

She had forgotten so much that she thought she had jumped off a cliff for her husband.

But Doctor Jiang believes in his judgment more.

He can only remind her.

Xu Zhichun's heart moved slightly. For a moment, she seemed to have grasped something, but then the thought went away.

She nodded: "Thank you, Doctor Jiang, I will remember."

After sending Doctor Jiang away, everyone left one after another.

Missus Zhang seemed to want to say something, but was pulled away by her husband.

Only then was Xu Zhichun able to comfort her brother-in-law Liang Mingxuan.

This child is ten years old this year and is studying in a private school in the neighboring Quanshan Village. He is very good at studying. He is handsome and gentle. He is wearing a bamboo green Confucian robe which gives him an unmistakable scholarly aura. Especially his eyes, they are clear and calm, seemingly contains the brilliance of knowledge. Anyone who sees him would think that this child is an excellent student and has a bright future ahead!

This almost innate temperament of a scholar cannot be obtained by others so easily.

Everyone knows that when this child grows up, he will definitely not be an ordinary person. Many people in the village envy his family.

But now, the news of Liang Minglang's death has come, Liang Mingxuan suddenly became an orphan, and Xu Zhichun also became a widow. The days ahead may be different.

In the past two years, although their eldest uncle and second uncle's families have taken some small advantages, they have not dared to go too far. Now, its hard to say.

Xu Zhichun smiled and patted the edge of the bed, gesturing for Liang Mingxuan to come over.

"Mingxuan, don't worry, there's is still your sister-in-law. This sister-in-law will definitely support you in continuing your studies. We will live our lives the same as before. This sister-in-law is fine. Will you go to school tomorrow or take a rest at home for two more days?"

The news of Liang Minglang's death arrived five days ago. The child had a good relationship with his elder brother. She doesn't know if he had managed to cope or not. He is still so young, he has to bear this. It's really pitiful. It's okay to have a few more days of rest.

Liang Mingxuan's eyes turned red and he suddenly threw himself into Xu Zhichun's arms, hugging her tightly, and his little body trembled.

Xu Zhichun sighed secretly. No matter how smart he is or how good he is in school, he is only ten years old and will be afraid. If his sister in-law were to die too, he would truly be an orphan.

What uncles and aunts? They are all vampires.

Even if he has the village head behind him, and continues to study, his life will still not be easy. All the fields and family properties will definitely fall to their pockets.

If he is tortured by them in the future to the point of being useless, then so be it. But if he becomes successful, just the filial piety of "having raised" him can firmly control him for a lifetime!

If he is tortured by them in the future, it would be fine. If he is promising, he can control him for the rest of his life by just "raising him"!

After a while, Liang Mingxuan's voice was hoarse and soft, "Sister-in-law, don't die. Don't leave me behind."

"No, no, definitely, not."

"Really?"

"Of course it's real."

Seeing that he was not in good condition, Xu Zhichun said, "How about you rest at home for a couple of days before going to school?"

Liang Mingxuan was also a little worried about his sister-in-law and nodded: "Yes."

Xu Zhichun comforted him for a while. Aunt Zhu'er, who boiled the medicine, had brought it over. Xu Zhichun drank the medicine and soon fell asleep.

In a daze, she opened her eyes and found herself on a huge harbor dock. The dock is empty, but there were rows of countless of warehouses.

Xu Zhichun pushed open the door of a warehouse and walked in. The warehouse was filled with bags of rice and wheat. Her eyes brightened and she couldn't help but open a burlap sack, grabbing a pristine white rice.

A sudden jolt of awareness shot through her, Xu Zhichun opened her eyes and then stared at the rice in her hand.

She looked up and glanced around, she was still lying on the bed.

So just now - not a dream?

But where is that? Is it a warehouse port that belongs to her alone?

Xu Zhichun was overjoyed, and her consciousness flashed again and she returned to the port. She wanted to see what else the other warehouses have.
